COVID-19 Vaccine Update

*Updates for patient COVID vaccines: 

  1. Dallas County is offering COVID vaccine to elderly and patients with chronic conditions at Fair Park. Link to register is here.
    1. You DO NOT have to be a Dallas County resident to register
    2. Once you register, Dallas County will give the patient a call to create an appointment.
    3. Patients can show up at Fair Park as a walk-in for the vaccine. Doing so does NOT guarantee a shot and there is a long wait-time (i.e. as long as 6 hours)
  2. Denton County is offering COVID vaccine to elderly and patients with chronic conditions via appointment at a Drive Thru location. Link to register is here.
    1. You DO NOT have to be a Denton County resident to register
    2. Once you register, Denton County will give the patient a call to create an appointment.
  3. Tarrant County is offering COVID vaccine to elderly and patients with chronic conditions via appointment. There are multiple locations. Link is here.
    1. You must live in one of these Counties: Ellis, Johnson, Hood, Somervell, Erath, Palo Pinto, Parker, Wise, Montague and Cook
  4. UTSW is offering the vaccine to its patients. 
    1. Patient must have seen a UTSW provider in the past three years
    2. Patient can create an appointment by logging into MyChart (UTSW Patient Portal). Link for MyChart is here.

Our office has officially applied to be a provider of the COVID-19 vaccine, and are awaiting confirmation.
